Disability Access Statement

It is our aim at Mill House Bed and Breakfast to provide an

equal welcome to all our guests. We do try to overcome any

barriers that the physical limitations of our property create

which may be of importance to you.

Please ask us before booking if you are at all doubtful or have any particular requirements that you would like us to know about.

 

We would like to draw your attention to the following:-

 

Access to Mill House front door is well lit with a sensor light with a small raised weather board into the hall.

 

The house is large detached, part Victorian, two story building with a staircase to the bedrooms, there are no bedrooms on the ground floor.

 

A secure hand rail is provided to the staircase which

is well lit at all times and not particularly steep.

 

The brightly decorated bedrooms have large bay windows giving a lot of natural light.

Landing, stairs and hallway are well lit when it is dark.

 

Smoke alarms are fitted in all bedrooms, hall and landing.

 

The en-suite rooms have enclosed walk in shower cubicles with a small step up into the shower tray, bright coloured towels are provided.

 

Breakfast is waited service.

 

Emergency telephone numbers in large print are

available in bedrooms.

 

Television with teletext and digital boxes in all rooms.

 

Our car park area is illuminated by sensor lights and is adjacent to the house with flat access to the garden.

 

Help is available if you require assistance with your luggage.

 

We are a smoke free establishment.

 

We have a no pets rule however Guide dogs are welcome.

 

Mobile phone network available in the area.

 

Mill House is located in a well lit street, within easy

walking distance of all amenities, including the

many restaurants. Public transport to Peterborough train station and shopping center stops outside the property.
